Joe Andronaco serves as the President of Access
Green with a primary focus on developing new business and
ensuring that the infrastructure is in place to support a
high quality of service to existing and prospective
customers. Joe has a long track record of building
businesses in the region. Prior to joining Argent Heating
and Cooling, Joe worked at Washington Gas. Joe is very
active in the community and in outside organizations,
through Leadership Greater Washington, the North American
of the Remodeling Industry (Board Member) Associated
Builders and Contractors of Virginia (Board Member), and
the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (Real
Estate Committee). He has a B.A. from the University of
North Carolina and a Masters in Business Administration
with Honors from The Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania. Joe Andronaco was named Member of the Year
by the Associated Builders and Contractors Virginia
Chapter (2007). Similarly, he received the Contractor’s
Award by the North American Remodeling Industry of the
Metropolitan DC region (2007). In April 2008, he received
the Greater Washington Minority Business Leader Award in
the award’s inaugural year from the Washington Business
Journal. Joe serves as a founding member of the Mayor
Adrian Fenty’s Green Collar Advisory Council, where he
serves as the small business subcommittee chair and is
working on developing strategies and initiatives for the
city to cultivate the green economy and green jobs in the
nation’s capital.
Brian Uher serves as Vice President and Director of
Audit Services for Access Green. As a principal of Amicus
Consulting Services and senior advisor at Amicus Green
Building Center, has been responsible for the design
services arm of Amicus, where he has developed methods for
incorporating return-on-investment with standard energy
modeling and auditing techniques to extend and anchor the
value of intelligently applied green building techniques.
He has extensive experience with home audits and
valuations, having completed more than 100 since 2006.
Recent consulting work includes engagements with Econsult
Corporation on the Catawba County Thread Trails green
space project, the Delaware River City Corporation green
space property valuation project and most recently a $300M
mixed-use, multi-family project in Arlington, VA. His past
experience includes project management in both the
construction and architectural consulting industries. He
has recently completed an executive masters joint program
at the University of Pennsylvania in the School of
Engineering and the Wharton School of Management, holds a
master's of science degree in molecular biology from the
University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in
biology from the University of Chicago. Brian is a LEED
accredited professional, serves on the Portland Cement
Association's Sustainability Advisory Board, is a past
board member of Community Forklift in Edmonston, MD, a
member of AIA's Committee on the Environment, a current
member of the Urban Land Institute and a past member of
GreenHome, an affordable housing organization based in
Washington, DC.
Jason Holstine serves as Senior Advisor to Access
Green, focusing on integrating valuable product and
service offerings fro Amicus Green Building, like
the SWEETLinx Corporate Sustainability Program, the
ongoing Free Educational Events Serie and the fulfillment
of green products through Amicus Green Building Center. He
is the founder and president of Amicus Green Building
Center, has better than a decade's experience implementing
sustainable goals and projects through better buildings.
Jason has advised homeowners, contractors, developers,
agencies, and other audiences on a wide scale of buildings
and projects to maximize their efficiency, health,
environmental integrity, financial value, and other
criteria. Jason has also spearheaded a variety of other
innovative efforts, including: expanded adoption of Energy
Star products by retailers, consumers and media; launch of
the Capital region's first wind power electric-choice
program; creation of a NOx emissions voluntary set-aside
program; first-in-the-nation inclusion of wind power into
the state Clean Air Act Implementation Plan; advised
energy improvements for USHUD public housing complexes;
and lead stakeholder in the Maryland state Climate Change
Action Plan. Jason is also Chair of the Montgomery County
(MD) Energy and Air Quality Advisory Committee; member of
the board of directors of Clean Air Partners and the
Chesapeake Climate Action Network; and former board member
for GreenHome, an affordable housing organization.
Ron Gallant serves as Senior HVAC and Plumbing
director at Access Green. Ron Gallant, a partner / owner
of Argent Heating and Cooling, started in the HVAC
industry in 1973 at AB&A one of the area’s premier heating
and cooling companies. He began his career as his
grandfather’s helper, followed by continuous upgrades over
the next ten years as an apprentice, journeyman and
culminating in a master mechanic license in air
conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing and
electrical in DC, Maryland and Virginia. In 1985, he
purchased AB&A and ran the company until 1999 when he sold
A.B. and A. to a group of investors. At that time, Ron
became a founding partner at Argent Heating and
Cooling-LLC. He received his Bachelors of Science from the
University of Maryland and attended Catholic University’s
law school. He has held various positions as installation
mechanic, service mechanic, installation manager, service
manager, sales, sales manager, vice president, president
and owner. He is familiar with every aspect and facet of
residential heating and cooling. Ron holds masters
licenses in all local jurisdictions and advanced training
and certifications from Air Conditioning Contractors of
America (ACCA), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration
and Air conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Radiant Panel
Association (RPA), Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning
Contractors of North America (SMACNA), Green Advantage,
Building Performance Institute(BPI),Ventilation Institute
(HVI), International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSPHA),
Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) and various
manufacturers such as Carrier, Trane, Amana, Bryant, Weil
McLain, Water Furnace, April-Aire, Honeywell and Johnson
Controls. Ron is the proud father of Zachary, Sasha and
David and the loving husband of Debbie Gallant. His family
has been in the Washington Metropolitan area for five (5)
generations. He has been an active Soccer and Lacrosse
coach at Wootton High School in Montgomery County for the
past twelve years. Ron, with 35 years of experience,
specializes in evaluating the heating, cooling, comfort,
safety, efficiency and indoor air quality needs of his
clients. With his extensive background in residential
heating and cooling, Ron provides a thorough, professional
and broad based perspective to solving your particular
issues and concerns. With today’s focus on energy
efficiency, energy costs, indoor air quality and
sustainability, Ron’s particular skills and experiences in
solar, geothermal, radiant, ultra-high efficiency
equipment and indoor air quality needs will provide you
with answers to your concerns.
Bill Wheelbarger is a Senior Director at Access
Green and will oversee the company’s Geothermal practice.
Bill Wheelbarger serves as a Vice President of Argent,
responsible for work directly with Architects, Designers,
Home Remodeling Companies and Custom Home Builders. Bill
has been working in the HVAC industry since 1979 where he
received extensive training with the United States Air
Force. He subsequently completed his Associate’s Degree in
business in 1981. He served for four years in the Air
Force where he performed various HVAC duties at Lackland
(San Antonio, TX), Shepherd (Wichita Falls) and Tinker\
(Oklahoma City) Air Force Bases. Bill attended college
courses at George Mason University. In 1984, he began
working in the HVAC industry in the Washington DC Metro
Area. He advanced to being a service mechanic and then
progressed to become a residential replacement salesman.
Between 1989 and 1997, he worked at J&P Heating where he
ran their sheet metal shop, fabricated (and installed)
metal and installed HVAC systems. At this time, he also
began to manage installation crews and continued with his
sales career. From 1997 – 2003, he joined forces with Mike
Berard at Craftsman Service Company where he focused on
sales of replacements, installation management and began
his career as a Custom Homes Specialist, consistently
producing more than $1 million book of business. In 2004,
Bill became a founding member and owner of Argent Heating
and Cooling where he serves as Vice President. Throughout
his career, Bill has developed extensive technical
expertise. His military training exposed him to highly
sophisticated systems where he learned the physics and
science of air flow, heat transfer, passive and active
heat loss and gain, among every major aspect of the trade.
It is safe to say that there are few projects that Bill
has not experienced. In his later years, he has worked on
marquis projects like installing heating and cooling into
what was termed the oldest home in Washington DC. As
technology in the industry has progressed, Bill and Argent
have been at the forefront of education and learning. Bill
has numerous licenses and certifications, including Green
Advantage Certified Remodeler, Gas, Heat Pump and CFC
Certification.
Aaron Dell’Acqua will serve as an installation
manager for much of the HVAC being performed by Access
Green. Aaron Dell’Acqua is a loving father of five. Having
decided to get involved in this industry by chance, he now
has 25 years of experience in heating and cooling. He has
been able to keep his clients, family and friends
comfortable in their homes and work places. Aaron started
out as a helper in 1984, and then went on to being a
mechanic in 1986. Shortly after that, he became a Design
Estimator, and in 1992 went on to being a very skilled
service technician/installer. Then in 2004 he was elevated
to his current position as Installation Manager. He has
developed a keen sense of business working his way through
the ranks. His sharp eye for fixing problems comes from
the many certifications that he has acquired such as:

RSES-Heat pump & Heat Certified
NATE-Heat pump certified
NAPE-Steam/Water Boiler (low & high pressure) and
Commercial Air Conditioning
Ed Hite serves as a Senior Advisor to Access Green.
Ed Hite is the owner of Allstar Heating and Cooling Inc.
and a key partner in the Argent / Allstar joint venture.
Ed started in the HVAC industry in 1978 at AB&A, which was
then the leading air conditioning and heating companies in
the DC metro area. Eddy began his career as his father’s
and adopted grandfather’s helper, followed by a continual
upgrade over the next ten years as an apprentice,
journeyman and finally a master mechanic in air
conditioning, heating, ventilation in DC, Maryland and
Virginia . He has held various positions as installation

inventor. He is constantly inventing new applications for
existing products in the air conditioning and heating
industry. Ed is especially versatile in radiant, solar and
geothermal applications. His custom designs can be seen in
all of Washington ’s most respected architects and
builders projects.. Ed is the go to professional for
solving residential heating and cooling problems. Ed, with
30 years of experience, specializes in evaluating the
heating, cooling, comfort, safety, efficiency and indoor
air quality needs of his clients. With his extensive
background in residential heating and cooling, Ed provides
a thorough, professional and broad based perspective to
